Compare stair lifts side by side

Choose any two stair lifts, and two columns show their weight limits, folded depths, warranties, and installed prices.

Unsure which models will work on your stairs? Every list separates straight stairs from stairs that turn, or you can begin from lifts for straight stairs or lifts for curved stairs.

Choose two models to place them side by side.

Straight stairs, installed
$2,749–$8,230 11 models
Stairs that turn, installed
$8,000–$25,000+ 5 models
Weight limits
265–600 lb standard to heavy-duty

All 16 models, straight stairs first, lowest listed price first

First, confirm two things: the rider weighs less than the lift's weight limit, and the lift, when folded, leaves enough room on your stairs. Once that is settled, compare the installed price and the warranty.

What the columns mean. Folded, from wall: how far the parked lift sticks out into the stairway. Heavy-duty: a stronger version of the same lift for heavier riders. Limited lifetime: the warranty covers the named parts for as long as you own the lift, within the manufacturer's terms. Installed price: "published" means the manufacturer or a dealer states the installed price; "estimate" means the lift price plus a usual fitting charge, or a review site's figure.
